* Teaching students the importance of completing homework assignments and learning better life-long study skills.
* Incorporating the district character education initiative into the program.
The Cherry Hill Education Foundation grant paid for teacher salaries and supplies for the 30 week program.
Academic Banquet
The Cherry Hill Education Foundation believes in the benefits of recognizing student's academic achievement. The Academic Banquet honors high school seniors in the district who have achieved at the highest levels.
The annual banquet, first held in 1998, welcomed graduates, administration, faculty and staff to present these students with awards. The awards recognize the academic excellence of students similar to the athletic awards held annually by the schools.
The Cherry Hill Education Foundation sponsors this event for the district. A former graduate is invited to speak about the academic influence the Cherry Hill school district has had on their professional careers.
